English as a Second Language

Adults who speak minimum English may take English as a Second Language classes through Adult Basic Education to improve their ability to speak, understand, write, and read the English language. The classes stress pronunciation, basic sentence patterns, essential vocabulary and survival skills.

Citizenship and Naturalization Education

Citizenship and naturalization education prepares foreign-born adults to take United States Naturalization tests. Instruction includes principles of US Government, civics and history, which can be also applied for permanent residence in the United States.
