Transitional English is designed to improve and enhance English skills in reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary. Instruction is based on the student’s needs and may include vocabulary, phonics, spelling, grammar, memory techniques, study skills, and test taking skills. Placement is based in entrance testing. Writing II and Reading II provide students an opportunity for assistance in other English or related courses.
