MICROSOFT WORD FOR SENIORS
Students will be taught basic skills using Microsoft Word. Starting Word, opening documents, inserting text, editing text, printing label, envelopes, backing up documents to a flash drive. Will need a flash drive (min. 512 MG).

Basic Car Care
How to maintain your automobile doing light maintenance. This class will also give you pointers on what to look for while buying a used automobile.

Motorcycle Rider Course
The Motorcycle Rider Course includes five(5) hours of classroom instruction and ten (10) hours of riding instruction. It begins with the basics, such as turning, shifting, and braking. Then it moves on to more advanced street riding strategies. We provide the motorcycles. Professionally trained instructors teach in the classroom and then coach riders in a controlled riding area. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the required waiver form. In order to pass, you must attend all classroom and riding sessions and pass the knowledge and skills test. Basic Woodworking
Pick your projects. Projects range from bird houses to china hutches. Must sign up for both classes.

Electrical Licensing I
Class will cover a minimum of 8 hours on code with the additional 8 hours on related topics. These classes are tailored to fit class needs and requirements and will also cover the changes in the National Electrical Code and Calculations. Used for education hours needed for licensing.

Electrical Licensing Prep
For those wanting to take the State Electrical Exam for licensing. Course will prep the student in Basic Electricity Calculations, Code Calculations, Code Sections, and State of Nebraska Electrical Law.

Small Engine/ATV Maintenance & Repair
Students will learn ATV maintenance, along with engine repair on small air-cooled internal combustion engines.

Parts Distribution
Study of counter selling, telephone skills, customer relations, creating invoices, looking up parts and other skills involved in the dealing with customers, technicians and supervisors.

BASIC INTERNET FOR SENIORS
Venture onto the internet and see all the new places you can go! Learn the equipment and services needed to use the internet, how to find the information you're seeking, and some interesting uses of the internet such as shopping and banking. You will also learn how email works.

EMAIL 101:
Would you like to surprise your family and be able to send and receive emails? There is more to this process than meets the eye. This class will teach the student proper "Nettiquette" in composing and sending emails. We will open an email account that can be used anywhere in the world, not just from your own home computer. Learn how to spell check, add photographs, add and open attachments, as well as replying and forwarding. Learn how to set up an entire network of recipients to keep families and groups connected.

LINE DANCING - INTERMEDIATE
Get into the groove, exercising your body and mind through line dancing! Learn the latest in popular line dances, as well as some old favorites. This class will teach advanced line dances, and is designed for the experienced dancer. Previous experience recommended. CALL 402-372-2269 TO REGISTER .

DIGITAL PHOTO EDITING
Discover techniques to improve photos taken with a digital camera or scanned into a computer. Topics to be covered: removing red eye, cropping, creating collages, changing color pictures to black and white, coloring isolating areas, tinting pictures, and adding text. Bring your photos to work with for hands-on learning.

Experience Ridercourse Skills Plus
The class includes 5 hours of riding instruction and 4 (15) minute discussion breaks. Fine tune your riding skills. Clutch control, u-turns & s-turns, quick stops, turns, weaves & swerves. Professionally trained instructor will teach this course.

This energetic tumbling class is designed for kids, come and join in on all the fun!

BASIC COMPUTER CONCEPTS II FOR SENIORS
The student will be taught basic to intermediate level computer skills using Windows XP operating system. Student should be familiar & comfortable with all concepts in BCCS I. Will learn file organization, typing text in MS Word or Word Pad including cut, copy, and pasting test. Saving and printing documents. Backing up your computer system to a flash drive. Learn how to play a music CD and a video. Will need a flash drive for this class (min.512 MB). Also my bring a music CD to class.

The student will be taught intermediate computer skills. Student should be familiar & comfortable with concept of BCCS I & II. Adding and removing programs properly, using Windows search companion, perform monthly maintenance procedures to keep your system running smoothly. Crating envelops & labels with MS Word. Backing up files. Will need a flash drive for this class (min of 512 MB).

ADVENTURES IN ASTRONOMY
Explore the physical universe as we know it today. Discuss astronomy from our home planet outward to the most remote objects that can be detected by present-day telescopes. Observing sessions are scheduled to give students first-hand experience with astronomical telescopes. Class will not meet on 11-6-08.
