There are numerous drug and alcohol counseling, treatment and rehabilitation centers located within the 20 county area served by Northeast Community College. Any of these resources can also provide information and assessment relating to drug and alcohol abuse. In addition, they can furnish schedules for local and area meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Alanon, Adult Children of Alcoholics, Alateen, and Alatot. Both inpatient and outpatient centers offer help for the entire family of the alcoholic or drug user.

For "out-of-area" off campus students, information for assistance may be obtained by contacting local health agencies, family doctors, churches, law enforcement agencies, or other community action centers and organizations such as Rehabilitation Services.
